Michael Young
Michael Young
seduces the viewer into his world of elegance and romance. A
master of dramatic perspective and fascination architecture,
he is an accomplished artist of Modern Nostalgic
scenes.
Michael was
raised in Lansing, Kansas. His drafting skills
were strongly influenced by the landscapes of the famous
artist, Grant Wood. Moving to New
York, he received his formal training at the Art
Students' League, which has been the training ground for
several generations of America’s leading
artists. Michael also had the opportunity to study portrait
painting with Harry Fredman and anatomy with Bill
Weltman.
Credits include
one-man shows with galleries in Kansas
City, Beverly Hills,
New York City, Boston, San
Francisco, Miami,
and Chicago. The response to his
work has been tremendous and has resulted in many private as
well as corporate collections and international
recognition.
His studio and
gallery are located in Kansas City, Kansas where he lives with
his wife and two sons.
