Barbara Todd
Barbara
Todd is an oil painter who also enjoys graphite drawings and
dabbles in a little water color. She was born in Kansas
City, Missouri and moved to
Peculiar in her child hood years. She and her husband now live
in Raymore. She has two sons and two daughters in

As a child growing up Barbara couldn't wait to see
the Sunday funny paper. She would look at the comics and other
ads and then draw them. It was at those times she would dream
of drawing and hopefully painting some day. She now has the
joy of teaching a children’s art class once a week in her
home.
She completed Art Instruction School and studied under
Harry Freedman, Bob Byerley and Jan Thompson. She also had the
enjoyment of working for Bob Byerley for six years as his
director of the fine arts distribution center

been the recipient of many awards in the past years at local
art shows. Some of her accomplishments include painting a
Kansas
City Plaza scene for the
“Peggy Karr Glass Co.” decorative plate’s collection and
receiving various awards at a litany of art
shows.

Cass - This hangs in the Court House in Cass County Harrisonville, MO., a painting of
