Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri I attended schools in North Kansas City and in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. Art Classes were always my favorite and I did really well in them too. I believed the “starving artist “ stories so I figured I had better go to college for something else. Being a animal lover for all of my life, Veterinary Technician College seemed perfect. Graduation, state boards and a new job were next.

   After working for several veterinarians including an animal emergency clinic, I found that you did not have to be board certified. The veterinarians took advantage of that. Hard times put me in the United States Army studying electronics for six years. After I finished the Army I spent my time perusing a Graphic Artist degree in Denver, Colorado. I begin oil painting in my spare time.
