 Kathy Bubalo
A native of
Missouri, Bubalo captures the beauty of the mid-west through
her paintings of florals and regional landscapes. She
brings a realistic style to her painting, concentrating on
composition and design.Bubalo's award-winning original
paintings reflect her versatility as an artist, as she
explores the challenge of a variety of watercolor
techniques.
Bubalo received her professional art
training at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, NE. In recent
years she has continued improving her artistic skills,
studying with such well known artists as Doug Walton, Jim
Hamil, Al Currier, Hugh Walkinshaw and Ken Hosmer.
Bubalo has participated in
several area juried shows, where she has received many awards,
and has had exhibits in several regional galleries. Her
work is in both private and corporate collections throughout
the United States.
Bubalos's memberships include,
Greater Kansas City Art Assoc., Images II Fine Art Resources,
Independence Art Assoc., Raytown Art League and Art Committee
of Blue Springs. |
